KIDDERMINSTER & DISTRICT MIDWEEK BOWLING LEAGUE
RULES OF CONSTITUTION
1. The League shall be called Kidderminster and District Mid-Week Bowling league 
2. The officers shall be elected annually at the Annual General Meeting and shall, unless notified otherwise,  
  meet on the second Thursday of each month throughout the year 
3. A President shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting and shall serve on the Delegates Committee 
  during his term of office. The President shall also serve in an ex-officio capacity for the year following 
  his term in office. 
4. The Annual General Meeting shall be held within the first quarter of the financial year, such period to be 
  January to March each year 
5. Bone fide members of duly registered league teams of the Kidderminster and District Mid-Week Bowling 
  League, only will be allowed to attend the Annual General Meeting. Other persons may be allowed to attend  
  at the discretion and express invitation of the League Delegates Committee. 
6. A Special General Meeting may be called at any time provided:- 
  i)  5 or more clubs request such a meeting, or 
  ii) The league Delegate Committee so decide as and when cicumstances determine. 
7. Voting at the A.G.M. shall be one vote per team and shall be strictly adhered to, in the event of a tie the Chairman 
  shall have the casting vote. 
8. League Delegate Committee members shall not have any voting rightsat the A.G.M. other than as a duly registered  
  league delegate representing his or her Bowling Team. 
9. All Notices of Motion including alterations to rules shall be in wrighting to the Secretary to be received not later  
  than the 30th November each year. 
10. The League will annually appoint Auditors at the A.G.M. 
11. Applications for membership to the league shall be in writing to the League Secretary 28 days before the 
  appropriate A.G.M. 
12. Teams are not allowed to play League or Cup Competitons on Public House Ground. 
13. The Delegates are empowered to expel from the league, Clubs failing to keep their greens in reasonable condition. 
  To prevent damage to turf, only flat soled footware shall be worn. 
14. Annual League Registration Fees and any other fixed paymants will be determined by the A.G.M for each year and 
  will be payable on or before the first match of the season. All outstanding dues to the League shall be paid within  
  7 days of the final League Match. Failure to comply will be delt with by the League Delegate Committee who 
  may concider expultion from the League. 
15. All outstanding dues to be paid by January`s delegate meeting. 
16. Any matters arising not covered by League Rules shall be decided by the League Delegate Committee whose  
  decision shal final and binding, provided that any decision does not contravene any rules in operation at the 
  time. All discussionsaffecting League and Cup matters shall be carried out by a forum of not less than 7 Delegates. 
17. All Club and Individual league and cup competition winners and runners up to choose from a range of suppliers catalogues  
  (trophies, crystal, ect). The order to be placed with the Secretary by the specified date. If teams do not notify the Secretary 
  by the specified date their trophies will be chosen by the Secretary up to the amount awarded. 
18. All individual cup trophies to be returned to the League secretary by the 31st May each year. All other trophies to be 
  returned by the 31st August each year. Failure to do so would result in a fine of £1 per week that it is late. 
19. All teams to provide contact name and phone number. 
20. Each Club to provide 1 delegate only for each meeting. This person may br different at aech meeting. (Note: it may not 
  be to Clubs advantage to chop and change delegates as different people have different views) 
21. Any Club that fails to send a delegate to meetings on a regular basis will be seriously dealt with. The level of 
  punishment to be decided by the delegates. 
22. Apoligies will not be accepted from clubs failing to send a dellegate. A fine will be imposed for each missed meeting. 
  i.e. 1st missed meeting £1.00 2nd missed meeting £2.00 (Total £3.00); 3rd missed meeting £3.00 (Total £6.00), ect 
  in any 12 month period...
